Three major events will take place during this week meant to gather researchers, innovators and industrial partners from all around the world: The 3rd International Congress of Mechanical Engineering and Agricultural Science (CIIMCA 2017), the 2nd International Conference Science & Technology of Drying (CiCTS 2017) and the 3rd international meeting of the RIIVI net.

Invited speakers will discuss, debate and analyze current trends, growing possibilities and future developments in areas like food and bioprocesses technologies, drying technologies, renewable energies use and industrial automation among others.

Participants are invited to submit original research papers dealing with the following thematic areas:

  •     Science and Technology of Drying.
  •     Engineering fundamentals, modeling, testing and simulation.
  •     Renewable energy and thermal science.
  •     Material science and engineering.
  •     Automation and Agricultural Science.

Oral and poster presentations will be arranged according to the preference of authors and the approval of the scientific committee. All abstracts will be published in the CIIIMCA & CiCTS 2017 Proceedings (ISSN 2382-3305). It is important to outline that a special section of the conference proceedings will be dedicated to the research-incubators works.

Selected works will be invited to publish a Conference Paper in a special volume of the IOP Conference Series: Materials and Engineering Science (ISSN 1757-899X), which is a Scopus indexed publication (more information in the IOP procedure section). Likewise, the UIS Engineering Journal (Revista UIS Ingenierías-ISSN 2145-8456), which is an indexed publication (Ebsco, Latinindex), will invite some selected works to publish a Scientific Paper in one of its this year issues.
